“ When I walked in here I felt so fancy. Definitely feels like a high-end restaurant so dress accordingly! We had a reservation on the weekend and were immediately seated us by the door, which let in a draft but not for too long. The waiter was very friendly and gave food recommendations. We started with the everything Parker rolls which were absolutely devine. The bread was soft and fluffy with the perfect amount of everything bagel seasoning. The bread was served with signature RPM butter. We also had the shrimp in olive oil warm appetizer which was flavorful and delicious. We also ordered the bluefin tuna/avocado sushi which was incredible. It was fresh, packed with flavor, and a good balance of soft and crunchy. Also loved the crab mac and cheese--creamy, cheesy, decadent. Eating it felt nostalgic but also like a brand new experience because of the crab. The portion was generous but that price is wild! For dessert we got the chocolate sesame cake which tasted weird at first. However, I quickly figured out that if you eat a bite of cake with the ice cream and crumble topping it tastes amazing. Again, it's RPM so of course it's very pricey and will not be coming here often. It was an experience for the books. ”
“ I was visiting Chicago and my son took me out to dinner. RPM Seafood exceeded my expectations. The food was amazing, service was excellent and Jason the manager, treated us like royalty. I would definitely recommend going to RPM Seafood, it was amazing!!! ”
“ I dined at RPM Seafood last Sat. evening with hubby, SIL and her hubby and my 8th grade nephew. Both my adult son and nephew claim RPM Seafood as their favorite restaurant, so it is well recommended. My son loves giant appetizer towers and RPM has them. It was both my BIL and my annual birthday dinner. RPM printed special menus for us with our names at the top! Fun! Restaurant space is very nice, loudish but not noisy so we could all talk to each other. Service was 5/5. We had great salads, shrimp app, best crab cakes ever to start for a perfect start. Entrees were king crab special, halibut, snapper, halibut tacos and shared one lobster fried rice. Somehow, entrees were only very good, but I too recommend this place. Once in awhile and for a special occasion. ”
“ I came for a large dinner event. The appetizers were amazing! I especially loved the crispy tuna. The waiters were very attentive and of course the view was fantastic! I'd love to come back again! ”
“ We were here on a Tuesday evening. 5:45 reservation. The restaurant was busy the entire time we were there. Service was great. We took our time and were not rushed. Food was all excellent. My bass was outstanding. Very tender and flavorful. The Fall Old Fashioned had cinnamon and a little spice in it, which was a great idea. It was a perfect match for the cooler weather outside. Overall everything was great. You can't go wrong with a trip to this restaurant for a special occasion or a night out. ”
“ Wow, this is one of the best meals I've had in Chicago! This is a large restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor balcony seating has beautiful views of the Chicago River. It was super busy when I ate here (on a Wednesday night) and it's definitely necessary to make a reservation. I ordered the wild Alaskan halibut as my entree and it was excellent; cooked perfectly in a light but flavorful brown butter sauce. I'll be back next time I'm in town! ”
